The Bureau of Land Management has launched a new General Land Office (GLO) Records website with redesigned search tools.

This site serves as the index when ordering Federal Land Records on our site, so we're taking the time to thoroughly learn the new system. These includes military bounty land, homestead records, cash sale records, etc.

No promises, but we'll try to publish a video walkthrough as soon as possible that demonstrates how to efficiently locate the information you need to order federal land records from CivilWarRecords.com. Our goal is to help make the transition seamless so you can quickly find the information needed for your research and record requests.

Stay tuned. This is brand new to us too, so we'll share the tutorial as soon as we figure out the new site and update our ordering process if necessary!

At first glance, the update looks completely different than what used to be there. If you've used it and have any helpful tips, please share them so we can all benefit!

Just curious who all in the tribe are local and ride horses?? Im sure you all know about my wreck and how bad it was as well as the permanent hardware i have. I was told id never ride again. Well here I am granted im not chasing barrels but God replaced my two legs with four. 😆 🤣 The TB is my Amaya Grace, the paint is a friends horse Mike. Id love to get together and ride with some tribal members. I can't walk real far but I can ride.

Shannon Powell Mitchell I wrote this years ago when I lost my father. From a mother who lost a son I truly feel your pain.Dustin was a bit shy at first but soon he opened up around me and I saw his beautiful spirit and heard the sound of his laughter. That and his smile will for ever remain in my heart until I too walk with our ancestors. I only pray this brings you a bit of comfort in your loss. Within my hearts an empty space because of this life that's been taken away. Out of this old world and into a new. With streets paved in gold, at home there with you. In your home way up above they are in heaven surrounded with love. Take his hand Lord show him the way, to your land of glory, a new dawn a new day. I love you Shannon I was blessed to have him touch my life personally if but for a short time. My heart and prayers go out to you. You have a whole tribe that loves you. Know you are in my prayers with each and every rising and setting sun. Im only ever a message away.
