As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to pause and share an update.
Over the past few days, The Comeback Initiative has been quieter than usual. We haven’t held our regular care-package distributions or shared as many updates …not because the mission stopped, but because I needed time to reset, regroup, and care for my own mental and emotional wellbeing.
Leadership requires honesty, and the truth is: there can’t be a comeback for the community if the person leading it is running on empty. Taking this time allowed me to refocus, heal, and make sure I am able to serve with clarity, compassion, and strength.
As we step into the new year, I’m committed to rebuilding with intention, greater organization, and consistency. Our heart for service has not changed …if anything, it is stronger than before.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support, encourage, and believe in this work. Your patience means more than you know, and I’m grateful for every single person who walks alongside this mission.
Here’s to restoration, resilience, and the comebacks ahead.
Happy New Year. 🤍✨
