WHAT IS AN EMPTY BOWLS EVENT?
It is an event to bring awareness to the starving people in our community and around the world. All proceeds from our local event this Sunday, March 16, go to support the Natchez Community Stewpot and help them continue to feed the hungry in our area. We hope you will help by sponsoring or purchasing a ticket (see link below).

Local potters and our potter friends from Louisiana have donated their talents and time to make over 400 bowls of all colors and designs, and they will be available to you Sunday. Your $30 ticket gets you a delicious serving of gumbo and cornbread, and you pick a bowl to take home with you to remember the hungry in the world.

It is not too late to be a sponsor. Sponsorship gets you 2 tickets and chances on the “sponsors only” drawing for 3 special items made by local clay artists Conner Burns, Patricia Huffines and Donna Jones.

The Stewpot is experiencing fewer donations in 2025, and your donation is important to support this wonderful mission of feeding over 300 meals every day. We would appreciate your support!
