Shelia Craig is a dedicated inclusion teacher committed to supporting diverse learners in achieving both academic and personal success. She works collaboratively with general education teachers to create inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments where all students feel valued and capable. Her classroom practices emphasize differentiated instruction, literacy development, and social-emotional learning to meet the unique needs of each student.
Shelia’s philosophy of education is grounded in the belief that every student can learn when provided with the right support, opportunities, and environment. She believes education should focus on the whole child; addressing not only academic growth but also social and emotional development. She also believes that education should empower students to become confident, responsible, and empathetic individuals who can contribute positively to society.
In her classroom, Shelia intentionally creates a safe and nurturing environment where students feel respected and supported. She integrates social-emotional learning practices to help students manage emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Shelia believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and equitable access to learning are essential for student success. Through her work, she continues to advocate for inclusion, equity, and meaningful learning experiences for all students.
