Update on Natchez DYB. There were some miscommunications made to us that turned out to be false.

I have been in communication with the Mayor's Executive Assistant. Yesterday and today. Things have been straightened out.

DYB will have use of the fields. It is too late for this season, but we will be back next year in full swing. We will take this time to do much needed improvements to the fields and the press boxes.

We will also be in regular communication with the City. That will alleviate any future miscommunications.

It is with a heavy heart that I am making this post. Due to unforeseen circumstances
Natchez DYB will be no more.

The City has decided that they will be taking over the fields and playing baseball on the fields. We had a very long run and I will miss being there for the children. Please contact the City for their plans for the Baseball Season.

We wish them well and hope they have success in their endeavors.

I will miss all of the people and have enjoyed all of the years we had.

It isn't really necessary for Tball but we need all of them there so that coaches can see the players so that we can draft players Monday. This shouldn't take long. Everyone is anxious to get started.

We will be having tryouts Monday at 5:30 on Ballew Bowlin field. This is for 8U and 6U.

I am writing this with a heavy heart. Since COVID things haven't been the same. We will be playing Tball and Coach Pitch. We will also have 1---- 12U team. They will play in Vidalia and Natchez. There will be no 10U. Even though it makes me sad, We will still strive to make this a fun season. We have lots of things in store for our kids this year. If your child was registered for 10U, I will have the form and refund at the Sports Center for you to pick up.

A few words from Ms. Angie,, the Natchez Dixie Youth President- "I would like to take a moment to let everyone know that due to Danny Brown's health issues over the past year, he is retiring from Dixie Youth. From the Board of Natchez Dixie Youth we want to say that he will be greatly missed. He and his family have put a lot of time in the youth of our area. Thank you Danny and your family. You will be missed. We are planning a few things in the near future and will keep everyone updated on what is going on."
