Natchez-Adams County Habitat for Humanity

Natchez-Adams County Habitat for Humanity Habitat is a Christian ministry that builds decent, affordable homes for lower income families. Families are selected through an application process.

In 1991, a group of local citizens got together and decided to form an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. Some of the early organizers included Danny O'Beirne, Helen and Buddy Rayne, Father David O'Connor, Connie Burns and many, many more. The first home was completed in late 1993 and now the organization is ready to start construction on its 18th home (2013).

Busy day for Habitat volunteers. Donated hammers, saws, shovels and rakes to the program that will deliver to western North Carolina.

Cleaned out all 3 storage sheds and filled 2 trucks and taken to landfill.

Also separated other items to donate to thrift store that supports Humane Society. And finally placed cinder blocks under our trailer to keep tires off the ground.
