After the recent storm, our volunteers spent time putting in a fresh xc ski track in Natalie starting and ending at the yellow gate lot. All are welcome and encouraged to ski on it.

We kindly ask that folks please do not walk or bike on the ski track, as footprints and tire ruts make it unsafe and unusable for skiers, and the track is difficult to repair once it's damaged.

If you're walking or biking, please stay off the set ski track. A little awareness goes a long way in helping everyone enjoy the trails.

The Coal Cracker 10K is on Saturday June 13, 2026. It includes the following events: Coal Cracker 10K, Kids Fun Run/ 1.5 Mile Run NO shirt, Kids Fun Run/ 1.5 Mile Run WITH shirt, and VOLUNTEER.

DCNR is now accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighter Assistance Grants through December 31, 2025. Up to $882,000 in grants is available for volunteer fire companies to help protect rural communities from wildfires.
