Nassau County Police Explorers, NYA Winter Competition, February 21st, 2026.
On February 21st, 2026, the Nassau County Police Explorers proudly participated in the NYA Winter Competition. During this event, our teams engaged in a series of police officer-oriented scenarios designed to test their skills and knowledge. These scenarios included Arrest and Search, Bomb Threat Response, Burglary Investigation, Crime Prevention, Crime Scene Management, Crisis Negotiation, Domestic Incident Response, Emergency First Aid for Officer Down, Traffic Stop Procedures, and White Collar Crime Investigation. Our drill teams also played a heavy role in this event.

In addition, we extend our sincere thanks to the NYPD and LFL for hosting and inviting us to participate in this outstanding competition.
