National Night Out 2026

The Nassau County Police Explorers were proud to take part in National Night Out, traveling throughout Nassau County to connect with residents and strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

Throughout the evening, our Explorers had the opportunity to assist at events, meet families, interact with community members, and enjoy a night filled with activities, conversations, and plenty of fun. Events like National Night Out are a great reminder of how important it is to build trust, create positive connections, and come together as one community.

A special thank you to all of the Nassau County Police Officers who attended and helped make these events possible. Your continued dedication to the community and support of the Police Explorers is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank every Police Explorer who came out, volunteered their time, and assisted throughout Nassau County. Your commitment, professionalism, and willingness to serve represent what the Explorer program is all about. Great job to everyone who helped make National Night Out a success!

Nassau County Police Explorers, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, March 15th, 2026.

On Sunday, March 15th, 2026, the Nassau County Police Explorers participated in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, marching with pride and exemplifying an outstanding standard for our program. They were joined by the Nassau County Police Honor Guard and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder, who handed out toys to the community and spread joy.

This parade could not have been done without the tremendous help from the Nassau County Police Department, which provided coordination and support for the parade. In addition, we would like to extend our gratitude to Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder. And all of our Explorers in attendance. Without your help and service to the community, none of these events would be possible.
