The Phoenix Club parent organization was founded in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1955, with the Nashville Chapter being founded in 2001. Smith Music School.

The Phoenix Club of Nashville is a registered 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to support Nashville's Underserved Youth and Develop Members into Leaders in the Community. The Phoenix Club of Nashville is a registered 501(c)(3) organization for young professional men that raises money in social settings for the benefit of disadvantaged youth in Middle Tennessee. We are a catalyst in raising funds for Nashville youth and youth programs with a specific focus on supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. The club raises money in a manner that challenges members to reach out into the community for funds that enable our disadvantaged youth to prosper. In 2013, PCON surpassed $1 million in giving since its inception and expanded its work to support additional organizations including but not limited to YMCA Camp Widjiwagan, Junior Achievement, and W.O. The Phoenix Club is a dynamic cross section of young professionals. Among Phoenix Club alumni in Nashville are countless non-profit board members, community leaders, businessmen, entrepreneurs, bankers, sales professionals, attorneys, architects, engineers, developers, insurers, accountants, and physicians. With effort in this exciting initiative, members make long lasting friendships while giving back to the Nashville community. Men invited to join have always been required to meet two basic requirements: hold a sincere interest in furthering the goals of the Phoenix Club, and have potential for future leadership in the community. While this club continues to take on a character and life all its own, it is based on principles that have changed the lives of young children in Tennessee for over half a century. Membership enables life-long personal and professional friendships to be formed.

We’re just days away from A Night to Rise — Phoenix Club of Nashville’s 25th Anniversary Celebration at GEODIS Park ! For 25 years, PCON has brought together professionals committed to a dual mission of benefiting under-served youth in Middle Tennessee and developing members into leaders in their community and business. On October 8th, we’ll celebrate the goals achieved, the impact made, and the goals still ahead. Our grant for Move! Music City provided funding for the Music City Milers pilot program which included staff stipends, shoes, snacks, and race fees for 30 underserved MNPS students to participate in their first 5k race! For more information please visit www.movemusicity.com

Our grant for (BAC) provided support for Project LEAD, a youth leadership program. The youth participants and their families reported improved confidence in group environments, 0% recidivism for justice-involved participants, and marked progress in school and at home. As we get ready to announce this year’s grants, we’d like to take a look back at our 2025 grants. Last year we provided $51.5k to 6 youth focused non profits: Youth Villages , (BAC) , Move! Music City , Nashville Urban Debate League , Turnip Green Creative Reuse , and Jonathan’s Path . We will be highlighting each nonprofit with an update on the grant’s impact!

Join us on October 8th for A Night to Rise, a special celebration honoring 25 years of impact by the Phoenix Club of Nashville. The Phoenix Club has brought together young professionals with a shared commitment to strengthening Nashville, supporting underserved youth, and giving back to the community. Hosted at GEODIS Park in the C-Spire Goal Post Club, the evening will bring together members, alumni, supporters, community partners, and friends for a celebration featuring tastings from local restaurants, drinks, entertainment, fundraising, and opportunities to connect.

Paddles. Prizes. Purpose. 🎾

Join the Phoenix Club of Nashville for our Pickleball Fundraiser on Friday, October 30 from 2:45 to 6:00 PM at Pickleball Kingdom Nashville! Link in bio.

Hosted by PCON members and Renato Antun , this charity tournament features timed round robin pool play followed by knockout brackets, with room for every skill level. Compete for exciting prizes, enter our raffle courtesy of Absolutely Ridiculous ® , and enjoy a snack and community while supporting a great cause.

Entry is $75 per person ($150 per team of two), and 100% of proceeds support PCON’s mission of supporting underserved youth in Middle Tennessee.

We wanted to share an exciting H1 2026 Volunteering update. Patrick has lead the club’s volunteering efforts to great results: 484 hours of volunteering, 28 volunteering events, and 82 active member volunteers. It’s a great time to get involved for both our members and prospective members!

Dream Streets 2nd annual Rise and Dream breakfast was a fantastic event! A group of our members were able to attend. We are proud to be a supporter through our volunteering as well as a previous grant. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month for May, we enjoyed a talk from Reggie D. Ford 🌹 who is a Past PCON Member. Reggie is an award-winning corporate wellness speaker specializing in mental health, resilience, leadership, and positive psychology. As a TEDx speaker, bestselling author, and nationally recognized expert in psychological safety, he equips individuals and organizations to build cultures rooted in trust, courage, and growth. Mental health impacts everyone personally and professionally. Thankful to Middle Tennessee Council, Scouting America for hosting this important conversation.

This past week our board (with plus ones) gathered for a dinner to celebrate our progress so far. The next morning we had a productive board retreat at the Community Foundation Mid TN to discuss future plans for the club. We are excited to bring this back to our annual programming. Thankful to Sam High for leading a great board this year!
