Christianity Explored North America Home of Christianity Explored of North America. Christianity Explored is an evangelism ministry that helps people love, live, and tell the good news of Jesus.

Our mission is to equip God's people to share the Gospel so that they can share Jesus with others through the pages of Scripture and in a relational environment. We do so through our courses, Christianity Explored, Life Explored, and Discipleship Explored. You can run these series in small groups, with friends and family, even one-to-one in a coffee shop! They are designed to create safe, relational spaces where all questions are welcome and people can look at Jesus in the Gospel for themselves. Find out more or run your own course by visiting our website: www.christianityexplored.us. Want to learn more about who Jesus is and find answers to tough questions about life? Jesus welcoming the little children is just one example in the Bible of his warm and generous nature.

He made space for people to come to him. He welcomed them with warmth, gave them his attention, and made room for them to draw near.

As we welcome people to Christianity Explored, may we reflect something of that same warmth and generosity — creating a space where people can relax, ask questions and explore who Jesus is.

Who could you invite to a Christianity Explored course?

08/19/2026

When you lead Christianity Explored, you have an opportunity to create a space where people feel seen, valued and comfortable enough to explore Jesus.

Just as Jesus was warm and welcoming to those around him, we want to do the same.

Over seven conversations, Christianity Explored offers an introduction to Jesus through the Gospel of Mark.

Combining a short film with guided discussion, Christianity Explored helps you and your guests engage directly with what Jesus said and did. Explore his identity, his mission, and the invitation he offers in a way that’s clear, grounded, and open to everyone.

Could you run a course?

Christianity Explored is designed to point people to Jesus. And we want to do that in a way that’s clear and accessible.

The films. The handbooks. The discussion questions. It’s all there to help people consider who Jesus is, why he came, and what that means for us.

Join along this week as we take a look at what it means to keep things clear and accessible.

Whatever their journey, they’ve made the effort to walk through the door.

And before the film starts or the Bible is opened, your guest might already be wondering: “Is this for me?”

That’s why simple things matter - things that say: you’re welcome here.

Because when people feel at ease, they’re more ready to open up and explore.

That’s what we want to create at a Christianity Explored course.

They’re standing at the door wondering: “Is this for me?”

Your guests may have come straight from work.Rushed over from university.Battled traffic.Or barely made it out the door.

That’s why the small things matter…
☕ A hot drink
🍰 Something to eat
💡 A relaxed room
👋 A warm welcome

When leading Christianity Explored, you’re not trying to create a perfect event, but a space where people feel at home.

Because when people feel at ease, they begin to open up.

And that’s the kind of space where people begin to explore who Jesus is, why he came, and what that means for us.

Hospitality is about more than a cup of tea ☕

It’s about creating a community, a family — and most importantly, a space where people feel free to explore Jesus.

…and that often starts with details that can feel small.

When leading a Christianity Explored course, consider the small ways you can make your guests feel at ease — whether you’re running it in your living room, a church hall, a community centre, or the back corner of a café.

Don't underestimate the greater impact of the small details.

We take our cues from Jesus. How was he warm and welcoming?

Remember Peter arriving on the shore to meet Jesus in John 21. Before Jesus says a word, Peter sees the fire and the breakfast waiting for him.

That’s the kind of welcome we want to create when running a Christianity Explored course.

Think about what people see when they walk through the door. A warm room. A friendly face. A cup of tea. People who are glad they’ve come.

Small things can make a big difference.

Follow along for this week’s tips on creating a warm and welcoming space so people can meet Jesus.

“Warm and welcoming, so people can meet Jesus”

This week we’re talking about how to create a warm, welcoming space so that everyone in the room feels comfortable enough to join in on honest conversations about Jesus.

Put yourself in the shoes of the people arriving to a course you’re running. What might they be feeling as they walk through the door? What could help them feel at ease?

Then think about the kind of atmosphere you want to create—and the small things you can do to make it happen.

Because when people feel welcome, they're more likely to join the conversation.
