Veterans Adventure Group

Veterans Adventure Group We build teams of veterans, equip and train them to tackle team based extreme sports goals, and help them execute their new missions.

Who We Are - Veterans Adventure Group consists of Veterans and individuals who are passionate about helping and supporting Veterans through the difficult transition from a military world to a civilian life. What We Do - Veterans Adventure Group provides support, guidance, and a strong network for Veterans as they train and prepare with us towards a positive extreme goal that develops a sense of pu

rpose and pride in the teams. When We Do It - All of our training is open to the public and current service members. Veterans Adventure Group Team members are required to be a US Military Service Veteran. We recommend Veterans and the public come train with us to better understand our mission and meet our volunteers at any time. We believe that opening our training up to the public will also help individuals referring high-risk Veterans to us so that they can effectively communicate the benefits of our organization. Where We Operate - Currently Veterans Adventure Group assists and selects Veterans in the Middle Tennessee area and our missions are conducted within the United States. It is our goal to expand Nation-wide and sponsor missions world-wide. Why We Do It - Throughout the country numerous non-profits are assisting and guiding physically and mentally diagnosed Veterans. Veterans Adventure Group recognized and move to create our non-profit open to all Veterans regardless of their diagnosis. We want all Veterans to have an avenue of opportunity to avoid and/or re-bound from the dangers and pitfalls associated with leaving the service and reintegration back into civilian life successfully. How We Do It - Veterans Adventure Group find Veterans who have overcome reintegration into the civilian life successfully, Veterans in need, Veterans who simply want to help other Veterans, and referrals from anyone about a Veteran in need to recruit and join our open training. Our selection for team members is based on many factors but revolve around the core principles of our organization...risk, locality, diversity, and need of support. We select missions based on activities that will push our teams passed their limits toward a challenge where they can put a positive focus on a goal that requires them to be team oriented. Veterans Adventure Group conducts weekly training in an effort to provide not only the physical fitness required to selected missions but also to establish support networks, accountability, direction, and guidance through Veteran peers. Our organization equips the teams with all the necessary gear required to safely and effectively achieve their mission. 100% of donations to Veterans Adventure Group are used to purchase gear and mission essential service such a transportation and permits if applicable. We facilitate the teams mission as this life changing positive events concretes the teams support networks and bond through sweat, teas, and blood if necessary. Extreme experience = extreme bond. It is the expectation of Veterans Adventure Group that our teams continue to operate with their team in bigger and more extreme activities after all their equipment has been donated to them not only for their own growth outside of our organization but also to continue to find, recruit, and support other Veterans who need our help in overcoming any challenge. New Team, New Mission

Persistent Veterans,

North America’s Highest. One of the World’s Toughest.

Denali rises 20,310 feet into the Alaskan sky — a mountain known not just for its height, but for its raw, unforgiving nature. With summit temperatures plummeting below -40°F and winds strong enough to rip tents from the ice, this is a climb that demands everything.

Our team will spend up to three weeks on the mountain. Carrying heavy packs, dragging sleds, moving camp after camp — all while navigating crevasse fields, avalanche terrain, and 24-hour daylight.

The mountain doesn’t make room for shortcuts. It requires patience, endurance, teamwork, and sheer willpower.

This is the kind of challenge we live for.

Veterans Adventure Group Expedition team is starting to finalize plans for Denali.

Follow along as our expedition team prepares to face one of the toughest objectives on the planet.

This weekend, Veterans Adventure Group kicked off our Endurance Athlete Program at The Cove 50K Trail Race, hosted by Ridge and Valley Adventures . Huge shoutout to Zac and the team for their support in helping veterans take on this challenge!

Congrats to our own and for completing the 50K! This is just the beginning—more races, more miles, and more opportunities for veterans to push their limits.

Next up, we’re taking it even further—we’ll be at the Leadville 100 in August! If you’re a veteran looking for a team to run with, train with, and push past your own limits, we’ve got you. Whether it’s your first race or your tenth, we’ll help you get to that starting line.

Want to join us for the next one? Send us a DM or check out the link in our bio.

Six veterans just took the plunge! 🌊

A huge thank you to Jill Knapp Campbell and Robert M. Kendall for making this trip possible. Their hard work and coordination gave these veterans the chance to get in the water, experience something new, and become part of the diving community.

Special thanks to Robert and his wife for making this trip even more memorable for everyone involved.
