Are there many technical issues that need to be fixed? Yes.

Was it much better in the room? Absolutely.

Would Dr. Hoskins riot if we don't document this somehow? Emphatic yes.

Will there be a livestream / better video next week? Lord willing!!!!

Should you come next week to see it in person? 100%.

THERE IS JOY IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD!

We have launched! Thanks be to God! It was SUCH a joy to gather with old and new friends and to celebrate the start of something new in this community! God is truly up to something in this place, and we are so excited to be just one part of it.

Thank you to all that attended this morning. It truly was a refreshing time of fellowship and worship, and we are so thankful to the Lord who has present and leading all along.

An extra special thank you goes out to our friends at Betel Hermitage, who cancelled their service to join in with ours! We could not be more honored that we got to worship with you all.

We cannot wait to do this again… let’s try same time, same place, next week?

WE CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALMOST HERE!

Our friends, we launch in exactly SEVEN days! We are so grateful to each of you who has supported us, prayed for us, and spread the word. We truly believe something is already happening in the Seven Points community, and we cannot wait to continue being a part of it!

In other good news, WE HAVE OFFICIALLY MET OUR GOAL OF $125,000 before our launch next Sunday! We are beyond thankful for your generosity as we are getting started. We truly would not be able to do all the things that we have already gotten to do without your support. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

In even more good news, our Back to School Bash at Ruby Major Elementary School this afternoon was a WONDERFUL time of fun, love, and joy for the students of Ruby Major, and for the community as well. We are so thankful for each launch team member and family that volunteered their time and skill, our friends from Hermitage Church of the Nazarene, and for our many community partners, including, but not limited to, multiple amazing hairdressers and barbers and the incomparable Anthony the Balloon Kid! We especially want to thank Kirby Groover for her incredible leadership for this event and for all that she did to make this event the incredible success that it was.

Tonight, we are reminded of the love of God and the love of the people and village that has surrounded us since the beginning of this journey. Our only hope now is that you will continue to pray for us, for this community, and for God to move in whatever way He wants to move. As we have said many times, and will continue to emphasize, God is already present and moving in the Seven Points community — we are only a small part in the good Kingdom work He has set out for us to do.

Make sure to tell ALL of your friends, family (even the distant ones you only talk to at family reunions), and every other person you encounter that SEVEN POINTS CHURCH is LAUNCHING next Sunday, August 16, at 10:00am at Ruby Major Elementary School!

We are excited to partner with Ruby Major Elementary School this year! Thanks for letting us love on your teachers, admin, and support staff today!

Thanks to everyone who has helped make this possible this far. We were able to give *everyone* on the Ruby Major payroll a nice “Back to School” gift. And big shout out to Baja Burrito for catering lunch today! We are so excited for all the places we will go together!

13 days until launch day and we are $5,688 away from being FULLY FUNDED! If you've been thinking about giving, but haven't yet, there is no better day than today! We really believe God is up to something in this neighborhood and we are so grateful for all of the gifts that have gotten us to $119k! Are there 57 people out there willing to give $100 each? We can tackle this in 2 weeks!
