Last Thursday at the Nashville FOP’s Peace Officers Memorial, we presented Officer Kelcey Bell (who is part of Drill & Ceremony) with a little token of our appreciation for going above and beyond helping a citizen, who, in-turn, made a donation to the Good Guys Foundation in his honor. Thank you, Officer Bell!!! Truly one of the Good Guys! We were able to present this to him with his Drill & Ceremony team there before the memorial began.

THIS GUY IS A HERO.
Right place at the right time and he responded saving a life.
It so happens he is a Special Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
While returning from a scene, TBI Agent Ryan Shanklin stopped in Gibson County to early vote.
He came upon an elderly man lying unresponsive on the sidewalk.
With no pulse detected, SA Shanklin immediately retrieved his AED and medical equipment issued through TBI’s EMT Program.
He began life‑saving measures — including establishing an advanced airway on the patient — while a bystander called 911.
Gibson County EMS arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
The next day, SA Shanklin received great news: The man he helped was expected to make a full recovery.
JUST A GREAT JOB.

Definitely one of the Good Guys(gender neutral term). Thank you Officer Beck!!!

Definitely one of the Good Guys(gender neutral term). Thank you Officer Beck!!!

Officer Lisa Beck recently responded to a welfare check after neighbors expressed concern for an 80-year-old resident. Upon arrival, she found the man safe but living in less-than-ideal conditions. He shared that he was hungry, had no food, and couldn’t locate his wallet or phone.
Officer Beck obtained an Andrew Jackson Lodge 5 sponsored CPR card to assist him and took him to the grocery store so he could get some essential items. She also made an APS referral to ensure he receives the ongoing support he needs.
Great work by Officer Beck for her compassion and dedication to our community.

Congrats Officer Biggers!!!

These are the Good Guys!!!!

Our officers are proud to stand alongside our law enforcement partners in a major effort to keep our community safe.

Through coordinated work across Davidson, Rutherford, and Sumner Counties, this operation resulted in the seizure of 161 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 21 pounds of co***ne, 8 pounds of fentanyl, 4 pounds of ma*****na, 10 fi****ms and more than $700,000 in cash.

The Hendersonville Police Department was honored to assist in this case alongside the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department Narcotics Unit, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the 18th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the DEA.

This investigation remains ongoing, and we are committed to continuing our partnership-driven approach to protecting the safety and well-being of our community.

Congratulations Officer Douglas!

Thank you to Senator Mark Pody for recognizing Mounted Patrol Officer Michael Douglas for his dedication to our horses during the January ice storm.

Officer Douglas stayed at the barn with our troop to ensure they were safe and well taken care of during the dangerous weather. ♥️
