🐾 It’s Foster Friday! 🐾

We have some more adorable kittens to feature! 🐱 Richie, Carmy, and Sydney are getting very close to 2 pounds and will be ready for adoption soon!

Elizabeth and Mina are already at MACC and ready to go home with you! 🏡

All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.

Meet Greenland! 🐾💚

Greenland is a 1 year old, 58 pound female who recently went on a Bow Wow Breakout with a MACC volunteer and she received a glowing report!

Her adventure started with a bath at Wags and Whiskers, which she handled like an absolute pro. Then she headed out for a coffee run and relaxed on the patio before spending the day shopping and socializing in East Nashville. Talk about a fun day out! ☕️🛍️🐶

And the best part? Greenland is incredibly sweet and gentle. She’s affectionate, loves adults and kids, and is a total rockstar in playgroup. She absolutely loves her doggie friends and is always ready to make new ones!

This beautiful girl has so much love to give and would make an amazing addition to the right family. ❤️

Come meet Greenland at MACC ASAP! You just might have found your perfect match! 🐾

Have your pet fixed in 2026! 🐾

Do you live in the Nashville area / Davidson County and need help getting your pet spayed or neutered? Friends of MACC would love to help!

If you're a Davidson County resident, Friends of MACC may be able to connect you with no or low-cost spay/neuter services for your pet.

As a nonprofit supporting Nashville’s only
municipal animal shelter, , we know how important it is to get pets fixed—but we also understand that cost can be a barrier, and we’re here to help.

🐾 Meet Whirlpool! 🐾

Whirlpool (A451980) is a 3 year old, 45 pound boy who recently enjoyed a Bow Wow Breakout with a MACC volunteer, and had the best time!

He loves being close to his people (hello, potential Velcro dog!), enjoys meeting other dogs and soliciting play, and is a total pro at crate time. He settles quickly and happily naps the afternoon away.

Someone posted the first photo on our "show us your adopted MACC pet" and we had to re share this sweet girl with the cutest bows from her photoshoot!😍

Friends of MACC has teamed up with Misty Westebbe to create a coffee table book (and fundraising event) featuring the pets of Music City!

Tails of Music City Coffee Table Book will feature your pets -- dogs, cats, lizards, birds and bunnies of Nashville at iconic Music City locations — and 100% of your session fee goes to Friends of MACC to help homeless animals find their forever homes.

Any pet is welcome! MACC Alumni will have a special icon denoting them in the book.

$190 session fee | Fully tax deductible | Limited to 100 spots
