Special Ops Xcursions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to making a positive impact on the Special Operations Forces community via outdoor adventures. We provide active duty SOF service members and their families with opportunities in the outdoors; hunting, fishing, shooting trap and s***t, archery, live music events, family retreats, and camping. At our events, we seek an atmosphere o

f relaxation and camaraderie, 1:1 ratio of guests to guides, and aim to remove all cost to the service men and families who join us. Our 100% volunteer staff provides meals, gear, clothing, bait, ammo, and the fully guided trip. All Special Ops Xcursions events have restrictions on camera and video usage, no tv shows here. Just men in the outdoors enjoying a weekend at the lodge with friends and family.

Last week, alongside our incredible partners at the Night Stalker Association, Hunting Roots, Herndon Archery, Hunt Brothers Pizza, TDF Kennels, and Mission BBQ Clarksville, TN, we welcomed 35 amazing kids to our Junior Warrior Archery Camp.

Throughout the week, these young men and women learned the fundamentals of archery, built confidence, practiced focus and discipline, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to every volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who helped make this camp possible. Your generosity and dedication made a lasting impact on these kids and their families.

Special Ops Xcursions is about much more than outdoor adventures.

Our mission is force preservation through family preservation.

While hunting and fishing events are an important part of what we do, nearly two-thirds of our annual efforts are focused on military families through retreats, youth camps, and family-centered experiences that strengthen relationships and build resilience.

This summer alone, we’ll facilitate nearly 50 events across the country.

A special thank you to the volunteers who continue to open their Airbnbs and vacation properties to host Special Operations families at no cost. Your support allows us to maximize every donation and deliver life changing experiences to the families we serve. 🇺🇸

Together, we’re helping military families reconnect, rebuild, and restore.

The 2nd Annual Destin Florida Deep Sea Fishing Xcursion was one for the books!

Our operators put fish in the boat all day, followed by an incredible evening reconnecting with spouses and children over a family dinner.

This is what it’s all about: rebuilding connection, community, and time together away from the noise.

This week we partnered with Country Rebel for the inaugural “Honor Sessions”, an intimate evening of country music honoring America’s heroes. 🇺🇸

Huge thanks to Kevin and Darin Blue for making the entire night happen. From coordinating artists and decor to hosting and hospitality, they worked tirelessly to make it unforgettable.

“Earned. Not Given.” the mantra of Spartan Race and a mindset that hits home for our Special Operations community.

This weekend, that mindset came to life.

Over 1,000 participants from Fort Bragg showed up ready to push limits, families training together, racing together, and proving that resilience is built side by side. From the first obstacle to the final sprint through the fire jump, every step was earned.

We’re incredibly grateful for our partnership with Spartan. Our missions align in all the right ways getting people outside, embracing adversity, and building unbreakable bonds.

Huge thanks to the site staff, Sammy, Rob, Stove, Nate, and the entire team for delivering a world class experience.

It was a powerful weekend in the field for our Special Operations fathers and sons.

From Indiana to Kentucky to Virginia, three turkey hunts brought families together, but one highlight stood out: three dad/son teams taking part in Virginia’s Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt.

This unique statewide event pairs hunters with experienced guides on premier private lands and supports veterans, youth, and first responders, creating not just a hunt, but a lasting experience rooted in mentorship, conservation, and community.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible: VA DNR, Brothers for Vets, and Mark J. and family in Kentucky for continuing to invest in these moments that matter.
