Smiles. Confidence. Community. 🚲💙

Last week , our youth didn’t just receive bikes—they gained confidence, learned valuable bike safety skills, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

A special thank you to Nashville Police Activities League (PAL) and Officer Hall for blessing our community with free bicycles, helmets, and bike locks. Your generosity made a lasting impact on every child who participated.

Together, we’re creating opportunities, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and investing in the future of Nashville’s youth.

🌼🐝 Our Pollinator Garden is Blooming! 🦋🌸

Today our campers had the opportunity to learn, explore, and get their hands in the soil as they helped care for our Pollinator Garden at Kirkpatrick Community Center.

Pollinator gardens provide food and shelter for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other beneficial insects that help plants grow and thrive. Every flower planted supports a healthier environment and teaches our youth the importance of protecting our natural world.

We are incredibly grateful to our partners from Friends of Warner Parks Nature Discovery Program for sharing their expertise and inspiring our campers to become environmental stewards.

Learning doesn’t just happen inside the classroom—it happens in our gardens, parks, and community every day.

Together, we’re planting seeds of knowledge, responsibility, and hope for future generations. 🌿💚

☀️ Breakfast was a hit this morning at Kirkpatrick Community Center! ☀️

Our campers started their day with a warm, homemade breakfast featuring:

🥐 Homemade Biscuits
🦃 Turkey Sausage
🧃 100% Fruit Juice
🥛 Low-Fat Milk

Every meal we serve through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is prepared with care to help our campers stay nourished, energized, and ready for a day of learning, playing, and making memories.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing team for serving each meal with excellence and love. We are proud to fuel our community one meal at a time!

What a ROAR-some Day at the Nashville Zoo! 🦒🦩🐸

Our Kirkpatrick Community Center Summer Camp had an amazing adventure exploring wildlife from around the world! From colorful flamingos and towering giraffes to fascinating amphibians and beautiful gardens, our campers learned, laughed, and created memories they’ll never forget.

Experiences like these help our youth grow through discovery, teamwork, and appreciation for nature.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, our wonderful families, and the Nashville Zoo for making this educational adventure possible. We can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us!
