We’re excited to welcome Randal Harrell to The Housing Fund’s Board of Directors!

Randal is a seasoned banking executive based in Nashville with nearly two decades of experience in private wealth and commercial banking. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Lending Advisor for Regions Bank, leading Private Wealth Management lending across Middle Tennessee and North Alabama. His expertise in credit, strategic planning, and market growth—along with a strong commitment to community leadership—will be a valuable asset to our board.

Randal is deeply involved in the community, having served in leadership roles with the Boy Scouts’ Cherokee Area Council, the American Heart Association, and several other organizations. We’re grateful for his willingness to serve and look forward to the insight and leadership he will bring as we continue advancing affordable housing and financial opportunity across Tennessee.

We’re also pleased to welcome Brook Warren to The Housing Fund through the Young Leaders Council!

A Nashville native, Brook is currently participating in the Young Leaders Council’s board membership training program, which prepares emerging leaders to serve nonprofit organizations through board internships and service. Brook brings more than a decade of nonprofit experience, along with the past four years working with Bloomerang, a nonprofit CRM company.

Brook has long been aware of The Housing Fund’s work and is a strong supporter of efforts to expand affordable housing in Nashville. We’re grateful for his interest in learning from and serving alongside our board, and we look forward to his contributions during this evaluation period.

"Marshall Crawford is one of a handful of leaders trying to tackle Nashville’s affordable housing crisis. Crawford has served as the president and CEO of The Housing Fund since 2017, and under his leadership the organization has grown to manage over $59 million in assets. His work never stops. This year, the nonprofit announced, in partnership with Southeast Investment Capital Group and the Samaroo Group, a 120-unit townhome community in Clarksville.

Notable 2025 activity: Crawford was one of 20 business and community leaders tapped to be a part of the newly formed Nashville Unified Housing Leadership Council, a collaborative effort responsible for advancing Metro’s Unified Housing Strategy and facilitating the development of more than 90,000 homes over the next decade."
