The ministry uses traditional Taekwondo training as a tool to mentor youth, support impoverished communities, and share the gospel locally and globally. The purpose of the World Christian Tae Kwon Do Mission is to spread the word of God using Tae Kwon Do as a tool. As described in Galatians 5:22 “The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control”. Tae Kwon Do is not just physical, it is mental, and spiritual. The practice of Tae Kwon Do challenges every person to develop the fruit of the spirit. WHY CREATING CHRISTIAN TAE KWON DO MISSIONS:
Today, there are more than 206 countries with 80 million Tae Kwon Do practitioners. It is our hope that, through our example, more martial artists will become involved in christian mission work so that more people can live in faith. There are many pockets of hopelessness in the world and through missions like this one perhaps many human lives and conditions will improve. WHY TAE KWON DO:
Tae Kwon Do is a defensive Korean Martial Arts. It is particularly well fitted to be taught in areas of poverty because it is practiced empty handed and does not require equipment. OUR PRESIDENT:
