Through Breaking the SSickle Cell Cycle Foundation, young adults are learning their sickle cell trait status, asking important questions about their health and gaining information that can help them make informed decisions for themselves and their future families.
For some, it is their first time being tested.
For others, it is their first opportunity to truly understand how sickle cell disease or trait may impact their family.
