Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to celebrate a triumphant victory in RJโ€™s journey. ๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ

Breaking The Ssickle Cell Cycle Foundation extends our heartfelt gratitude to Reggie D. Grimes Sr., Robert W. McMurry Jr. and the Williamson County Sigmas, Pi Eta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., for recognizing and celebrating this incredible milestone.

RJ is a Sickle Cell Warrior who has faced years of challenges, uncertainty and sacrifice with tremendous courage and resilience. Today, we celebrate the news that he is functionally cured from sickle cell disease. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

The Williamson County Sigmas have supported sickle cell awareness and our foundation for many years, and they have witnessed RJโ€™s journey firsthand. Their generous $1,000 gift was more than a financial contribution. It was a powerful reminder that RJโ€™s story matters, his perseverance has inspired others and this moment deserves to be celebrated.
