The APIC New England Chapter 001 Board of Directors was proud to attend the APIC 2026 Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, where infection prevention professionals from across the globe gathered under the theme "Leading with Purpose. Connecting with Intention."

This year's conference provided an incredible opportunity to explore the latest research, evidence-based practices, innovative technologies, and practical tools designed to advance infection prevention and strengthen patient safety worldwide. From thought-provoking educational sessions to inspiring keynote speakers, attendees left with valuable insights and renewed energy to support their organizations and communities.

Beyond the educational offerings, APIC 2026 provided an opportunity for the APIC New England Board to connect, collaborate, and strengthen its vision for supporting infection preventionists throughout the region. Time spent together allowed board members to share ideas, build stronger partnerships, and identify new ways to enhance education, engagement, and professional development for our members.

A special thank you to APIC for bringing together such a passionate and dedicated community of professionals committed to preventing infections and improving healthcare outcomes. We look forward to bringing these lessons, connections, and innovations back to New England as we continue to serve and support our members.
