Brown County Lions Club

Brown County Lions Club We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at The Brown County Public Library in Nashville at 6:00 pm. That’s Lions.

Located in the heart of the Indiana Uplands, log cabin country and home of the Abe Martin character. When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

What a great fireworks show last night!
* If you loved the fireworks and would like to be part of Lions, we are having a Meet the Lions picnic on the Nashville Village Green Tuesday, July 7, at 6:00. Come check us out!
* The cost of fireworks went up by 25% this year, and we haven't collected enough to cover the cost. If you want to contribute to help us continue this great tradition, you can mail a check to PO Box 716, Nashville, IN 47448 or through our Foundation pass-through at https://browncounty.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=2122&fbclid=IwRlRTSAS0sABwZG9mA2ZkaWQWUJ1PSbFJXIdCw16PMmUVnJVaHvqLaWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkCjY2Mjg1NjgzNzkAAR5oHioITRDMMB8_nYVPVcRcZVwDGJoGHkU1erklyQ1u52N_F1qwUxBaxUP56w_aem_v2UD8gsI3486CR32Qa4GVg.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the fireworks tonight and to all who helped put them on! Please reply and let us know where you went to see the fireworks and whether it was a good viewing location. You could add pictures if you wanted. People will want to know next year where is a good place to watch the fireworks from, and we should tell them.

Fireworks are Tonight! July 2 at Eagle Park! Gates open at 6 pm. Scouts will be there to sell hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. Dress for hot weather and bring plenty of water! Please be patient as we navigate our new home at Eagle Park. There will be traffic lines, but we have the parents of the BCHS Show Choir directing us. Thanks to Reed Septic for providing our portable toilets. Thanks to Gavin Steele and the Brown County Schools for letting us use their amazing facility and to our fireworks shooter, J&M Displays.
