A big thank you to the Women at Amazon (Nashville Chapter) for donating apartment essentials like bedding and kitchenware from our registry to our residents. Not only did they pack them into "fresh-start kits," they also included written notes of encouragement.

Whenever a resident moves on from Transitional Housing, they take these essentials with them so that they're not starting from the beginning all over again. That also means that we need to replenish each apartment's goods. You can help by shopping our Amazon registry, and those items will be shipped directly to us. Did you know that we launched a new program in 2025? Led by Director of Clinical Services Melissa Smith, The Moms’ Empowerment Program & Kids' Club focuses on preventive clinical therapy services for children and their non-offending caregiver. Thanks to recent evaluations by the University of Tennessee, we've learned that participants have shown measurable increased comfort in communicating with their children about interpersonal violence, more confidence that they have the tools to help their children cope with interpersonal violence exposure, and increased knowledge of positive parenting strategies.
