This past week, Depaul USA opened its newest program in Nashville, TN. Depaul USA—Nashville operates the Strobel House, a 90-unit permanent supportive housing program for single adults experiencing homelessness in the Nashville community. In addition to housing, Depaul staff provides residents with holistic case management, meal delivery, life skills workshops, peer mentorship, and more. Residents are referred to Depaul USA by Nashville's Office of Homeless Services.
At the opening, Freddie O'Connell, Mayor of Nashville, and April Calvin, Director of the Office of Homelessness, spoke on the city's commitment to the issue of homelessness and the Strobel House's role in its solution.
