Looking Out Foundation

Looking Out Foundation The Looking Out Foundation amplifies the impact of music by empowering those without a voice. Together, we’re making music mean more.

From neighborhood to nation, we help fund causes and organizations that often go unnoticed. Founded in 2008 by Grammy-nominated artists Brandi Carlile, Tim and Phil Hanseroth, we band together with fans, nonprofits, and corporations to translate voices of song to voices of action. We are nimble to the ever-changing needs of the human race, and adapt to support the diverse demographic we serve. Eve

ry campaign we launch is backed by our passionate donors and fans, and $1 from every concert ticket sold goes directly toward our efforts. Community-sourced:
We are fueled by the spirit of our fans and donors and reciprocate that energy back into communities around the world. Tenacity:
We believe it is our job as artists to generate awareness about issues and injustices in our world, and we are on a constant quest to grow our support base and create change. Musically inspired:
We are bound by our shared passion for music and it serves as a vehicle for the impact we aim to deliver.

We grow better together! 🌱 As programs like SNAP face cuts in funding, we are working with some awesome orgs and farmers across the country to fill the gaps.

Our grantee is celebrating 10 years of growing not just fruits and vegetables, but connection, community, and hope. What once was a golf course is now a vibrant farm where young people come to learn, to work, and to thrive.

Each year, donates thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food banks. Every carrot, pepper, and eggplant represents a meal, a memory, and a moment of dignity for someone in their community.

Texas, we are grieving with you and are heartbroken for all of the families affected by the floods this past week, which have taken over 100 lives and have destroyed multiple communities. In moments like this, we must come together to lift each other up and help our neighbors rebuild their lives and homes.

Today, we are sending Bramily funds to organizations working on the ground to offer needed support. We have granted $5,000 to who are working to prepare meals for first responders and affected residents across the flood zone to ensure all who have lost so much can still have access to fresh food.

We are also granting another $5,000 to as they deliver urgently needed medical supplies including: prescription medications, field medic packs for first responders, personal care items for displaced individuals, emergency medical backpacks, and chronic disease treatments such as insulin and inhalers.

We know these are just the first steps in a long journey of recovery and we are grateful to all of you for supporting us and donating so we can respond in real time. Thank you ♥️

Pride is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together. It is a time for community, collaboration, and action.

This Pride Month and beyond, we are working to make sure everyone has the right to healthy, joyful lives. This is why we have teamed up with - to turn up the volume on love, courage, and compassion, and to break down the stigma, discrimination, and neglect that continue to stand in the way of ending AIDS.

As international funding cuts continue, the need for this support has never been more urgent. You can give now and join our partnership at the link in our bio to make a difference across the U.S and worldwide!

Pride Partner of the Week! 🌈🧭 This month we have been working to connect you with the organizations and advocates your LOF donations support. Today, we want to introduce you to the Campaign for Southern Equality. is working to build a South where LGBTQIA2S+ people are equal in every part of life. They fund grassroot movements, organize responses to political threats, and provide access to needed resources.

Right now is rising to meet the moment with their Trans Youth Emergency Project. 27 states have passed laws banning gender-affirming care for transgender youth, and a recent ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld those bans for now. As a result, thousands of transgender youth and their families are being forced to identify new healthcare providers, travel extreme distances, and take on significant expenses just to get the care they need. The Trans Youth Emergency Project is the largest national program helping families navigate these laws and providing financial support through renewable travel grants. Donations made to the Trans Youth Emergency Project go directly to families in need.
You can check out their book 'Trans Kids, Our Kids' to learn more!

We are proud to fund and partner with these advocates who are on the ground providing needed support to our community. Thank you and thank YOU to our incredible Bramily donors who make these partnerships possible.
