Some of the best leadership advice is also the simplest.

When we asked Anna King, Past National PTA President, what advice she would give to PTA members and units across the great state of Tennessee, she shared a few powerful reminders:

💙 Be authentic.
💙 Be kind and welcoming.
💙 Listen more than you speak.
💙 Always remember our PTA mission when you speak about the work we do.

When we lead this way, we create space to invite more people into our wonderful association—more voices, more perspectives, and more people working together for children and families.

Today, the Senate Commerce Committee advanced to the full Senate floor the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), which would establish strong safeguards to help protect children and teens and remains a critical legislative ask of PTAs nationwide.
