This past weekend, Tennessee PTA leaders gathered at our State Office for President’s Academy—a time dedicated to learning, collaboration, and leadership growth.

Attendees spent the weekend strengthening their knowledge, sharing ideas, and gaining valuable resources to help them better serve their local councils and PTA/PTSA units across the state.

Strong leaders create strong associations, and we are grateful for every volunteer who invested their time to grow, learn, and prepare for another successful year of advocating for children and families.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who helped make this training possible. Together, we continue to strengthen the work of PTA across Tennessee.

This Memorial Day, Tennessee PTA encourages families to pause, remember, and teach the next generation the meaning behind this day. 🇺🇸

While children may see a long weekend, we have the opportunity to help them understand gratitude, sacrifice, courage, and service. We can teach them that freedom is never free and that countless men and women gave their lives so future generations could live, learn, dream, and grow.

May we raise children who remember with thankful hearts, honor with kindness, and lead with compassion.
