We are incredibly thankful to Harpeth Hall School for partnering with us once again through their annual bake sale at our Walk in the Woods event this Saturday!

Their students have faithfully supported our mission for years, and this tradition has become one of our favorite parts of the Walk. From cookies and brownies to other homemade treats, every purchase helps support the men we serve as they work toward stability, independence, and healing.

Our Walk in the Woods is back this May 16! Each year, our community gathers for a simple but meaningful event, walking together in support of homeless men rebuilding their lives.

At Matthew 25, we walk alongside men as they move from crisis toward stability, recovery, and permanent housing. Every step taken at the Walk helps provide safe housing, meals, case management, and life-changing support.

Our residential facility has been without power since Sunday due to the Nashville winter storm, and restoration is still uncertain. We may soon need to move our residents into hotels, are ordering hot meals daily, and have lost refrigerated food, all creating instability and unexpected emergency costs.

Our men are in good spirits, and our staff is working around the clock, but we urgently need support and prayers. If you’re able to give, your gift will help cover emergency housing, meals, and care:

Meet Sam and James — two recent graduates of our Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Program, pictured with their certificates on Veterans Day. With accountability, support, and God’s grace, they’re rebuilding their lives with confidence.

Weekly drug tests were a vital part of their journey in our program. They reinforce accountability, celebrate progress, and ensure each man has the structure and honesty needed to stay on track in sobriety. In 2026, we expect to spend roughly $5000 on drug tests.

Big news from the end of summer: our first five men have graduated from our new Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Program!

Launched in April, the program equips men with the tools, support, and confidence to move intentionally toward healing. One graduate described it as a place to be “gut-wrenchingly honest without judgment or prejudice.” Another said it gave them a “tremendous boost of confidence to become better versions of ourselves.”

We are so proud of these graduates, and deeply grateful to our community for making this milestone possible.
