Packing up our Abundancia CSA! This week, our CSA includes food from our gardens AND The Nashville Food Project ! And it also includes… papaya!

Why does our CSA include papaya from Mexico? 🤔 Because we also accept rescued food for distribution! The papaya is still good and we rerouted it from a landfill!

This week’s CSA reminded us exactly why we call our CSA Abundancia (abundance). Flowers from Nashville Roots Gardening, LLC, tomatoes, squash, beans garlic, peppers, herbs… we got it all! 200lbs of fresh produce distributed in the community yesterday! 🍅🧄🫑

Every week, we harvest produce from our gardens and local partners and distribute shares to members of our sliding scale CSA, Abundancia (Abundance). More than half of shareholders receive this local, organic produce for free or reduced price. Registration is closed now but we wanted to show you this week’s gorgeous harvest!
