Our Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee teens had an unforgettable experience preparing for the George Washington movie premiere with a special shopping trip at Old Navy! Thanks to Old Navy Navy, our teens were able to pick out outfits that helped them feel confident and excited for a memorable evening on the red carpet. Experiences like these help create lasting memories and remind our young people that they are seen, valued, and celebrated.

A heartfelt thank you to Boys & Girls Clubs of America for inviting our teens to this incredible premiere and to Fandango for being such wonderful hosts!

A huge thank you to the Tennessee Titans itans for inviting our Club members to an incredible Training Camp experience!

Our kids had an unforgettable day watching practice, meeting players, and collecting autographs. The smiles on their faces said it all. A special thank you to Cam Ward for taking the time after practice to sign autographs, talk with our youth, and create memories they'll never forget.

Experiences like these inspire our young people and remind them that anything is possible. We are grateful for the Titans' continued support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee and for investing in the next generation.

Last Thursday, we celebrated our annual Code Academy App Design Competition and what an incredible day it was!

After spending the entire summer diving deep into coding, learning new tech frameworks, and putting their creativity to the test, our scholars proudly unveiled the personal apps they've been building from the ground up. From initial concept to final product, every line of code reflected their dedication, problem-solving skills, and passion for technology.

We're so glad we were able to bring together parents, staff, and a distinguished panel of judges! Thank you BBOLD at Bridgestone Americas for your expertise and enthusiasm, it made the event truly special! Scholars walked our guests through live demos, explained their design choices, and shared what they learned through the ups and downs of development.

We're so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible, the mentors who guided our students, the judges who took the time to evaluate and encourage, and most of all, our scholars who showed up, put in the work, and created something truly their own.

Here's to another summer of building, breaking, learning, and growing. Can't wait to see what next year brings!

We are honored to recognize David Myers III and Cross Point Church Bellevue as the recipient of this year’s “Ed Moody Award of Excellence” recipient! For more than five years, David Myers III has served as a dedicated liaison between Cross Point Church and our Fairview Boys & Girls Club, turning a personal connection through his children’s involvement with the Club into a lasting partnership that has made a tremendous impact on the youth and families we serve.

Through the church’s annual Day of Service, David and a committed team of volunteers have consistently gone above and beyond—building a storage shed, creating and equipping garden beds, organizing spaces, assembling donated resources, distributing Thanksgiving food baskets, maintaining safe and sanitized environments, and tackling countless projects that strengthen our Club. Their unwavering commitment, generosity, and servant leadership have helped create welcoming spaces where young people can learn, grow, and thrive. We are grateful for their partnership and proud to recognize Cross Point Church Bellevue with this well-deserved honor.
