CounterHER was created to help girls put their Gloves Up. Crowns On, and realize they are strong, capable, and worthy of every opportunity before them.

Our program is led by female USA Boxing certified coaches and women mentors who believe every girl deserves to feel Safe, Supported, and Powerful both inside and outside the academy.

CounterHER is an all girls leadership and boxing program powered by Counter Punch Youth Academy. Our goal is to empower girls utilizing Olympic style boxing training, social emotional learning, and leadership development.

Last week in Washington, D.C., I had the privilege of joining the Juvenile Court of Metropolitan Nashville & Davidson County Nashville-Davidson County Juvenile Court team for an inspiring experience focused on youth justice and systems change.

From Georgetown University’s Center for Youth Justice to museums that highlighted the intersection of sports, history, and social justice, I was reminded how far Counter Punch Youth Academy has come. We spent years working to earn a seat at the table, and now we’re ready to help create meaningful solutions for justice-involved youth through diversion, mentorship, and leadership development.

A special thank you to the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Georgetown University for investing in this important work.

I leave D.C. inspired, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead. The possibilities are endless.

We just wrapped up a powerful 2-week Counter Punch Youth Academy KO Scholars Tour 🥊📚

From classroom to gym floor, we had the opportunity to introduce elementary students to the Counterpunch Method™, where movement meets mindset. What looked like boxing on the surface was really confidence building, emotional control, focus, and leadership in action.

The energy was unmatched.
The smiles were real.
And the impact? Immediate.

Teachers saw increased engagement.
Students found a new way to express themselves.
And most importantly… they left feeling empowered.

This is bigger than boxing.
This is about reaching kids before challenges reach them.

Now we’re looking to partner with more elementary schools and districts ready to bring something different to their students.
