August is National Shooting Sports Month and at TWRF, that means celebrating the next generation of shooters and the hunters we're bringing back to the field.
Through the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), young Tennesseans are building skill, confidence, and a lifelong love of the shooting sports. And through our R3 programs we're making sure the tradition doesn't stop with one generation.
This month is a reminder of why we do this work: safe, responsible shooting sports keep our hunting heritage alive for years to come.

IT'S MOVING! For those of you who are wondering where the Jr. Duck Stamp traveling display is, we're moving it soon! It has been at Discovery Park of America since the awards ceremony, but it will be moving to the Bass Pro Shop in Memphis on August 12th! It will be upstairs in the Ducks Unlimited area. The traveling display will be located there until the end of September. The last few days of September is will be located at the Ducks Unlimited headquarters for the FEDERAL Duck Stamp Judging day. I will update you with it's whereabouts after that very soon. Thanks so much!

From improving public hunting access by assisting with the purchase of more than 2,500 acres adjacent to existing Wildlife Management Areas—expanding critical elk habitat and increasing opportunities for hunters—to restoring nearly 700 acres of bottomland hardwood forest along the Hatchie River in West Tennessee, where former farmland has been transformed into thriving wetlands that improve water quality and provide essential wildlife habitat, every project reflects our commitment to Tennessee's natural resources.

These efforts are only possible because of the dedicated partners, donors, and conservationists who believe in protecting what makes Tennessee special.
Together, we're conserving wildlife, restoring habitats, and preserving our outdoor heritage for future generations.
