YMCA of Middle TN • Black Achievers A college and career readiness program empowering students across Mid TN as they plan for their future. ✨🎓✨

The YMCA Black Achievers prepare students for success after high school. Students develop skills in college knowledge, positive relationships, life skills, and positive identity. Participants have access to caring adults who help them navigate a variety of post-secondary options including, college, military, trades, or direct entry into the workforce. To achieve those goals, Black Achievers partner with families, educators, and volunteers to help serve youth from all backgrounds.

She is very excited to serve as the Black Achievers Assistant Director. Her goal for this year is to keep walking alongside students as they navigate their post-secondary experience by creating more spaces that not only provide helpful resources but empowers them to share the beauty of their culture and stories.
