In honor of Bonnaroo officially starting today, here’s some photos from 2023 and 2024 when we hosted an art show, spoke on multiple panels, and facilitated various creative activities in Bonnaroo’s Planet Roo!🌈

In 2024, Daybreak Artist, Bandy, even joined us to share about our mission and impact!

We’ve met so many amazing nonprofits and people in Planet Roo (including Pawster who we’re building a future collaboration with❤️). Good luck to all the nonprofits there this weekend! And thank you Bonnaroo for building a place for nonprofits and those making a difference to shine☀️

Last Saturday we participated in three events: Summer Reuse Fest, Summer of Soul’d, and the Madison Art Crawl.🖼️☀️

As an artist who primarily works with and enjoys repurposing recycled materials, Daybreak artist Beth led our booth at TGCR’s Reuse Fest, where she displayed and sold her work! ♻️ These photos capture some highlights from the day!

Thank you to all of our exhibition partners and volunteers for helping make these events possible!

Meet Us this weekend at Summer Reuse Fest + Summer of Soul'd! 🎨🌱

We're excited to spend Saturday, June 6 celebrating community, creativity, and connection across the greater Nashville area!

Start your day with us at Summer Reuse Fest at Turnip Green Creative Reuse, where you'll find sustainable art activities, community projects, a plant swap, kids' art kits, neighborhood beautification efforts, local pop-ups, and more.

Then keep the good energy going at Summer of Soul'd at Kossie Gardner Sr. Park for an afternoon and evening of community, culture, music, and neighborhood celebration.

These events are all about bringing people together, uplifting local creativity, and investing in the communities we call home. We hope to see you there!

We're ending our fiscal year by joining our community partners fun summer events!

Join us as we support local artists, celebrate BIPOC creatives, and continue empowering our community through art and connection.

June Highlights include:
• Summer Reuse Fest — June 6 (Our very own, Beth Gunn will be there selling her small crafts and reuse made bookmarks!)
• Summer of Soul'd — June 6 (We'll be at the Vendor Village 2p - 6p doing jewelry making with beads!)
• Final day of our End-of-Year Fundraising Campaign — June 30

Every event, conversation, and contribution helps us continue creating opportunities for artists to thrive. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to the for inviting our organization and artists to exhibit during this year’s annual Community Partner Art Show.✨🖼️

Tonight marked a special milestone as our new Art Logistics Manager, .sabeth, curated her very first Daybreak exhibition—thoughtfully selecting works inspired by the light, color, and beauty of the Frist’s current Impressionist collection, from Monet to Matisse.😍✨ We absolutely loved how it turned out, and we’re so proud of all of the talented artists with all of the Frist’s community partners.🎨💛
