OVERVIEW
We are excited to bring a new, tuition free K-8 charter school option to Williamson County that will focus on the liberal arts and sciences, moral character, and civic virtue. This is the kind of education upon which the American public school system was built, and it’s a variety of education rarely available today. Our efforts are closely informed by Hillsdale College and the work of the

ir K-12 Education Office, which provides curriculum and training to classical schools across the country. Hillsdale has formally received our group into their Candidate Member School process, and we intend to benefit substantially from their experience and best practices. We plan to open for the 2023-24 school year. It will start as a K-5 school and grow by a grade each year until it's K-8 (charter extension will need to be filed if plans extend to grades 9-12). This means if you live in Williamson County and have children who will be in K-5 in the 2023-24 school year, your children would be eligible to attend as an alternative to the Williamson County schools. MISSION
The mission of USA Classical Academy is to cultivate students' spirit of inquiry and desire for life-long learning through a content-rich American classical curriculum that promotes strong character and responsible citizenship. VISION
Our vision for the school is a teacher-driven classical model that develops independent-thinking, young adults who support values of freedom, personal accountability, and pursuit of happiness as espoused by our country’s founders. We wish to bring together families from different backgrounds, ethnically as well as socio-economically, who share a common desire to educate their children on traditional math, science, classical literature, and unfiltered history.

On December 9, 2021, Hillsdale College hosted a Tele-Townhall on “Reviving American Classical K-12 Education,” featuring Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry Arnn and Assistant Provost for K-12 Education Dr. Kathleen O’Toole, and hosted by Hugh Hewitt.
