Today we celebrate Bryson! Bryson has spent four years growing alongside our program. Through every challenge, he’s continued to show up, learn, and become more confident in who he is. His authenticity, resilience, and willingness to keep growing have made a lasting impact on those around him.
As Bryson prepares for high school, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible young leader he’s become and the legacy he’ll leave behind at Y-Quest. 💙

Join us on October 20 at the Champions Celebration as we honor students like Bryson and celebrate 40 years of empowering young people across Middle Tennessee. RSVP through the link in our bio!

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana! Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! The Y is celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of communities whose families came from Spanish-speaking countries or cultures. Rather than starting at the beginning of September, Hispanic Heritage Month takes place over 30 days starting on the 15th — a nod to the anniversaries of national independence for several Latin American countries including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico’s independence is celebrated September 16th, and Chile celebrates its independence September 18th. This month is an opportunity to celebrate the rich contributions of our Hispanic community members in Middle Tennessee.

Today marks the beginning of ! Each year, the Y joins communities across the country in celebrating Welcoming Week, an opportunity to honor the many cultures, experiences, and contributions that make our communities stronger. This week, we’re proud to bring neighbors together, foster meaningful connections, and celebrate the values of inclusion and belonging.

Join us as we work to make Middle Tennessee a place where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected. Stop by your local Y to participate in Welcoming Week activities, meet new neighbors, and help create a community where everyone belongs.

Here at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, we value whole-person wellness, which includes the mental health of our community. One resource we would like to highlight is the su***de and crisis lifeline - 988 - a vital resource for responding to the needs of those struggling with their mental health. Mark your calendars for 988 Day on September 8 (9/8) and help raise awareness.
