We are deeply saddened by the passing of Deborah Parker Pratt, a beloved leader, mentor, and friend within the Tennessee Medical Group Management Association (TMGMA) family.
Deborah’s impact on TMGMA was profound and lasting. She served as TMGMA President from 1990–1991 and was honored with the Martha Johnson Distinguished Service Award in 2019—recognition that reflects her extraordinary commitment and leadership.
She was a trailblazer in every sense, founding the Mid-South MGMA Chapter in Memphis and helping establish several chapters across Tennessee. Her dedication extended nationally as she served on multiple MGMA boards, generously giving her time and expertise to advance the profession.
Beyond her achievements, Deborah will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support of others. She truly embodied the spirit of service, and her love for MGMA and its members touched countless lives.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and the entire TMGMA community. Her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
