After years of working in cramped home garages with bad lighting, a group of guys figured there must be a better way. How could create our own shop in which to hang out, work on bikes, and have some laughs without disturbing the neighbors once we had a bike reassembled and ready to crank at 1am?

Five years ago we started a journey with to create something unique. A place where Nashville's moto community could come together to wrench, learn, and talk scoots.

While we succeeded in launching NMC, we never found the right space to accommodate both NMC and NMR.

Fast forward to 2017 and NMC has been fortunate enough to remain at full capacity. At the same time, NMR has grown into a thriving shop and a larger space of its own.

Even at full capacity, rising rents and shifting priorities threatened to shutter the doors of NMC. That's when the opportunity presented itself for NMR to take over the collective, and we all couldn't be more excited.

As of August 1st, NMC will close its doors, and our existing members will make a move to the community shop at NMR. At NMR everyone will enjoy a more vibrant environment. One with access to more community tools and classes to help with everything from tire changes and brake jobs to carb rebuilds and tune-ups.

We're excited about this transition and welcome you to stop by in August to check out the new community shop at NMR. If you need a bay to wrench on your steed, drop a line to grab one of the couple spots left.

Shimmed drive side crankshaft bearing to get proper end float, about .002" dry (spec .0015 - .003). Whoever previously put this together didn't use any, yielding .042" float!!
