A huge thank you to the Knoxville Area Brewers Association - KABA for partnering with us for a great event and to our friends at Next Level Brewing Company for hosting such a fantastic evening.

These events are about more than sharing b**r. They are about strengthening relationships, exchanging ideas, celebrating wins, and building a stronger brewing community across Tennessee. Every conversation helps us better understand the opportunities and challenges our breweries face, while reminding us what we can accomplish when we work together.

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to bring these conversations to more brewing communities across the state. See you next week in Memphis!

Congratulations to Tellico Brewing Company on bringing home a Gold Medal from the World B**r Cup!

Their b**r, Harvest Moon, earned top honors in the Amber L***r category—an incredible achievement on one of the world’s biggest brewing stages.

Recently, Representative Mark Cochran presented brewery owners Jonnie and Gerry Lynch with a proclamation recognizing this accomplishment and the pride it brings to their community, East Tennessee, and the entire Tennessee craft brewing industry.

Congratulations to our dear friends at Common John Brewing Co for opening their second location in Pulaski!

There’s something special about watching a family business grow to the point where it can take what it built in one community and carry it into another.

Expansions like this are more than just new taprooms—they’re new community anchors, new gathering places, and another example of how Tennessee breweries continue to invest in the towns they serve.

Pulaski just got a great one. Cheers to the team at Common John!

Come join me in the tasting room at 30 Oldham St before Saturday March 28th, as that will be the last day it is open to the public in this location. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support during this second chapter of Barrique. I hope to see you again in the future.

Toward the end of last year, I learned that this building on Oldham St will be going away in 2026, and I made the difficult decision to pause new production after December. That decision allowed me to focus on blending and packaging the final sonnet of barrel-aged wild b**r from this building while reconnecting with many of you across the bar.

This vintage of bottles and kegs will need time to condition, but I believe they may become some of the best blends we have crafted to date, and I’m excited to share them with you in the future. While we wait, our core b**r Haus Pils will remain available in the market.

To the small and dedicated staff who have been by my side for the past five years, I will forever be grateful for all of you and what you delivered to elevate this brand. I started Barrique in 2017 as a proof of concept, an outlet for art, and a dream of crafting b**r with intention and place. Moving to this location in 2021, our team carried those values forward, and I could not be more proud of what we accomplished.

To the patrons and fans: you are the reason I keep grinding, keep putting quality first, and keep pushing forward. This old-world approach to European-style b**r is unique, and it means a great deal that you choose to spend your hard-earned money on what we craft.

Please take the next few weeks to stop in, say hello, purchase some b**rs for your home cellar, and celebrate the past five years in this building.

B**r to me is art, and I am not done with art.

Yesterday, the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild spent the day at the Capitol meeting with legislators to talk about the many ways craft breweries contribute to communities across our state. While the photos here only capture a small portion of the brewers, farmers, and supporters who joined us throughout the day, we are grateful to everyone who took time out of their schedules to come share their stories and perspectives.

Our conversations focused on the many positive impacts of Tennessee’s craft brewing industry—from supporting local agriculture and small businesses to strengthening downtown districts and tourism—while also discussing some of the challenges brewers currently face.

Thank you to the brewers and farmers who stood with us today, and a sincere thank you to the legislators who took time to meet with us, listen thoughtfully, and engage in productive conversations about the future of craft brewing in Tennessee.

We appreciate your time, attention, and continued support of the industry and the communities it serves.
