We are excited about the October Livestock Club meeting. Parasites in small ruminants can be a challenge so why not come and learn a little about them. Then stay around for a workshop being offered by Dr. Dan Quadros. I will attach his flyer in the comments. You do not have to be in a livestock club to attend this meeting or workshop.

Everyone loved all the items offered from Sherwood Forest Farms last year. It is hard to believe it is already time to being ordering for this year. The items are all beautiful and smell wonderful. If you would like to order again this year call the office or get ahold of a teen leader. Items and prices are listed below with all the details about each item.

The Howard County 4-H Teen Leaders are selling Texas Roadhouse rolls and the honey cinnamon butter. The rolls are $8.00 a dozen and $4.00 each for the butter. If you are interested in purchasing any rolls or butter, please contact the Extension Office on the second floor in the Courthouse or call 870-845-7517. You must pay for your order when it is placed. Rolls will be in on November 18, just in time for Thanksgiving. For more information, contact our office.

Way to go girl!!! These 3 girls killed it in the fitting contest at the southeast district fair dairy goat show!! They placed first and won some great prizes!!! The judge acknowledged them for how well they worked together and communicated!! We are proud of you all !!!!

Students participated in team-building STEM activities that included axe throwing, navigating drones through obstacles, and connecting circuit boards.
Along the way, they explored science concepts such as momentum, kinetic energy, potential energy, and mechanical energy while also strengthening their fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and communication.
We are so thankful for our community partners who help bring learning to life. Thank you Nashville Elementary for letting us come in and work with your students!!!
