This workshop is always a favorite and fills up really quick!!! Space is limited so be sure to call and come by the office and pay to hold your spot. Youth will be building a kid size picnic, a table top roping dummy, and making their own rug. These are all fun projects that teach new skills. The cost of this workshop is $60 per youth.

For the 4-H members who are planning to attend STAR Camp, this is the camper letter and packing list for 2026. You will be getting a hard copy in the mail, but wanted you to see it now in case you had any questions. Please call Samantha at the EH Office - 870-845-7517.

Yesterday was one of our favorite competitions of the year in 4-H. Outdoor skills was held at the 4-H Center in Ferndale. Youth competed in fishing, axe throwing, BB, slingshot, and seniors also had to build a fire. Howard county really showed out and did a great job.

Junior individual
Brayden Worthen - 3rd overall, 1st BB, and 2nd Slingshot

Junior Team
Rhett Henderson and Holden Worley - 1st team overall, 2nd fishing, 3rd in axe throwing, BB, and Sling Shot.
Tate Henderson and Drake Jones - 2nd place team overall, and 2nd place axe throwing.

Senior individual
Asher Howard - 2nd overall individual, 1st in fishing and BB, 3rd slingshot.

This event teaches you great life skills and is always a lot of fun!!! We sure are proud of our group of boys that participated this year!

If you participated in one of our food commodity contest you have a check to pick up at the office!!!! We will start over with our new contest very soon!!!! When you come in be sure to get this year's cookbook as well!!!! I am excited to try some of those yummy recipes you all entered over the past year!!!

Do not forget our Cloverbud club meeting is this afternoon. It is going to be a fun afternoon learning about humming birds!!! It's not to late to sign up to attend.

If you are between the ages of 5-9 then we want you at our Cloverbud club meeting!!!! Shelley and Anna Kate always do a great job and the meetings are a lot of fun. Call the office if you plan on attending.

Outdoor Skills the weather wins again!!! We will practice next Wednesday at 3:30.

We do know what the competition are for this year and some of them you can start practicing on your own at home.

Senior Only event is fire starting

If it rains knot tying and gear evaluation will be the other options

Mrs. Samantha has the rules printed off at the office if you would like to stop by and pick up a set before next week.
