We have exciting news: The American Foundation for Su***de Prevention in Tennessee has been approved to submit an official Tennessee license plate design! The design will be available to purchase at any County Clerk Office; thousands of vehicles will use this plate to show their support for su***de prevention, and a portion of the funds will go directly to AFSP Tennessee to support our research and programs.

Whether you're an experienced graphic designer and artist or just someone with a connection to the cause, we'd love to see your work! Please also feel free to share this contest with anyone you know who might be interested.

The attached flier gives all the details for submission! tinyurl.com/afspplate

This week, our Area Director, Chloe, and Board Member, Carson, visited our nation’s capitol to meet with our senators and members of the house. We discussed bills to improve mental health services for veterans transitioning to civilian life, barriers on bridges and buildings to prevent su***de, and grant programs to provide su***de-specific care to those in crisis. The conversations were very productive! Look out for our post with bill-specific information so you can call or write your representatives to ask for their support.
