So do we! Many of our musicians have been on stage with the Nashville Symphony at various times during our careers, and we are absolutely devastated by the cruelty and insensitivity of this action by the Symphony Board.

The Nashville Civic Orchestra stands in solidarity with the Nashville Symphony following its announcement that it is suspending operations for the 2026/2027 season.
Our thoughts are especially with the musicians, staff, and families affected by this news. The Nashville Symphony has brought extraordinary music to our community and inspired generations of listeners and performers for 80 years. Its absence will be felt throughout Music City during this time.
We hope our community will come together in support of the people who make up this world-class institution and of the work needed to bring their music back. Now, more than ever, is the time for Nashvillians to step up and show that ๐ญ๐ช๐ท๐ฆ ๐ค๐ญ๐ข๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ญ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ด๐ช๐ค matters to us, and that it's here to stay.
The NCO remains ready to support our fellow musicians and colleagues in any way we can. Let's fill the Schermerhorn on their final weekend of performances October 16-17! Tickets available on the Nashville Symphony website.
