“Run, Forrest, run!” is more than a popular movie line for uber-athlete Forrest Wise. A member of the Hendersonville, TN, Running Club, Forrest has been known to walk great distances to raise awareness for important issues.

What does he have in mind for his 70th birthday? Walking 70 kilometers on August 15 for narcolepsy, an incurable sleep disorder as common as type I diabetes but almost always misdiagnosed due to lack of awareness. Narcolepsy affects 200,000 Americans and millions worldwide.
