Nashville Psychedelic Society is a drug policy reform and education community working to raise awareness of the healing potential of psychedelics. Currently, there is a major renaissance in psychedelic research at major institutions such as Johns Hopkins and NYU. As a result, many communities and organizations are forming around the world in order to eliminate cultural stigmas and bring awareness

to these powerful substances. Nashville Psychedelic Society was created to align with and contribute to the global movement. We are creating a space for honest communication, education, and normalization. A platform to connect those who have been impacted by the psychedelic experience and those who are interested in learning about the research. We will be coordinating educational forums, hosting guest speakers, screening films, and facilitating integration circles. This will be an incredible space to meet like-minded individuals, and share meaningful experiences.

One of the most frightening warnings we often heard growing up about psychedelics was the risk of unpredictable flashbacks--that at any moment one might be triggered back into a traumatic psychedelic experience with no warning years later. We now know that such an occurrence is extremely rare, but wonderful moments in our lives can trigger an emotional flashback to the feeling of bliss and connection many psychedelic users describe. What joyful, awe-inspiring or sweet and simple moments in your life have reconnected you to your own psychedelic experiences?
