🗳️ TAU LAMBDA’S CHALLENGE 5 — ARE THEY VOTE-READY?

Today, the Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is issuing a simple challenge: ASK 5!

Reach out to five people in your circle—family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, church members, or anyone else you care about—and ask one important question:

“Are you VOTE-READY?”

Don’t stop at asking. Help them take the next step:

✅ ASK 5 people if they’re ready to vote.
✅ ENCOURAGE them to check their voter registration status.
✅ HELP them make a plan to vote early or on Election Day.
✅ SHARE accurate election information with your community.

Imagine the impact if every Brother reached five people, and those five reached five more. That’s how we turn civic engagement into community action.

The ballot is our voice. Let’s make sure the people around us are prepared to use theirs.

“A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People.”

FIRST OF ALL®… WE VOTE!

Now the challenge is yours: WHO ARE YOUR 5?

🗳️ A LEGACY OF THE BALLOT | A VOTELESS PEOPLE IS A HOPELESS PEOPLE

For generations, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has understood that the power of the ballot is directly connected to the power of our communities.

Our national program, “A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People,” has its roots in the 1930s and reflects Alpha’s longstanding commitment to voter education, voter registration, political awareness, and civic engagement.

That legacy continues today through the Tau Lambda Chapter here in Nashville.

The right to vote was not always equally accessible. Generations before us organized, marched, sacrificed, and fought to remove barriers to the ballot. Their work reminds us that we cannot take this right—or our responsibility to exercise it—for granted.

As we approach the November 3 election, Tau Lambda is challenging our Brothers, families, friends, and community to stay informed, get engaged, and most importantly—VOTE.

The legacy has been handed to us. Now it is our responsibility to carry it forward.

“A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People.”

FIRST OF ALL®… WE VOTE!

🗳️ A VOTELESS PEOPLE IS A HOPELESS PEOPLE

As we continue Tau Lambda’s voter engagement campaign, today’s message is simple: CHECK YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION STATUS!

Don’t wait until it’s time to vote to discover there may be an issue. Take a few minutes today to verify that your voter registration information is accurate and current.

✅ Confirm your registration status
✅ Verify your name and address
✅ Make sure your information is current
✅ Get prepared NOW to cast your ballot

The Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. encourages our Brothers, families, friends, and everyone throughout Nashville and Davidson County to be informed, be prepared, and be ready to vote.

Checking your status only takes a few minutes. Your voice is too important to leave anything to chance.

FIRST OF ALL®… WE VOTE!

And remember:

“A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People.”

Check your status. Make your plan. Encourage someone else to do the same.

TAU LAMBDA IN ACTION | FIRST OF ALL, SERVANTS OF ALL

The Brothers of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc-Tau Lambda Chapter were proud to join our Alpha Brothers from across Nashville, alongside the NAACP, at Hadley Park for a day focused on voter engagement, civic responsibility, and community action.

This is what happens when Brotherhood and Service come together with purpose. When we organize, educate, and show up in our communities, civic engagement becomes more than something we talk about—it becomes something we DO.

As Alpha men, we understand the responsibility we have to help educate, empower, and mobilize our communities.

“A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People.”

Special thanks to Black Voters Matter and Empower Nashville for providing supplies and supporting the work being done on the ground.

Tau Lambda will continue to do our part to ensure our community is informed, engaged, and prepared to exercise the power of the ballot.

FIRST OF ALL, WE VOTE!

Yesterday , the Brothers of the Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. came together once again in the spirit of service and brotherhood to beautify a very special stretch of Nashville — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

A sincere THANK YOU to every Brother who showed up, put on a vest, grabbed a trash picker, and went to work!

Our Adopt-A-Street commitment is about much more than picking up litter. It is an opportunity to honor the legacy of our dear Brother, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while serving the community that bears his name. It is also about Brothers working side by side, fellowshipping, laughing, reconnecting, and strengthening the bonds of Alpha while making a visible difference in our Nashville community.

That is Brotherhood.
That is Service.
That is Alpha in Action.

We appreciate every Brother who gave his time this morning and continues to help Tau Lambda carry forward a legacy of service that extends far beyond ourselves.

First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All.
