Equine-Assisted Programs that promote Hope and Healing in Nashville, TN, in support of our Military, Veterans, First Responders, and their families.

We are open to the public for paid sessions with all funds going to our free programs for those who serve. Did You Know This About Some Of Our Military Veterans?... Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is the unseen Enemy for all too many of our Brave Warriors.

• We are losing over 20 Active Service Members every day to su***de; that’s more lives lost than Iraq and Afghanistan combined! And thes

e numbers don’t include any of our Veterans who fought in prior wars.

• In the past year alone, the number of diagnosed cases of PTSD in the Military jumped over 50%

• It is believed that 1 in every 5 of our Veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan has PTSD.

• 20% of the soldiers who have been deployed in the past 6 years have been diagnosed with PTSD.

• Over 300,000 of our brave men and women have some level of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.*

As we enter Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice made our freedoms possible, and their legacy will never be forgotten.

Sorry we missed posting this past Sunday… I was resting and preparing for my upcoming hip replacement surgery this Monday.

Belated Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there… and to our beautiful four-legged mothers as well. ❤️

Some fun moments from the farm.

Hal spent time working with Henni while one of our awesome volunteers helped bring Henni and the donkeys down to the arena. Lots of hugs, laughs, and good energy all around.

The donkeys definitely enjoyed the attention too.

A letter like this means more to us than we can properly put into words.

Thank you to Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1140 for the thoughtful note and for spending the day with us at Hillenglade. We are grateful for the kindness shown to our team, volunteers, and horses.

One of the things we care most about at HHH is creating a place where people feel welcomed, respected, and at peace for a little while. Hearing that reflected back to us means a lot.

Thank you again for your service, your support, and your friendship. We look forward to having you back at the farm soon.

Honored to Host Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1140

Saturday, we had the privilege of hosting Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1140 here at Hillenglade.

We spent time together at Douglas Corner on the farm, sharing great food, conversation, and stories, and then made our way out to meet the horses.

It was a great day all around.

To the veterans of Chapter 1140, thank you for everything you have done for this country. It was truly our honor to host you.

And thank you as well for your generous donation. Your support means a great deal and helps us continue this mission.

Fun times at Hillenglade.

We had one of our future Glitter Girls giving Mr. Henni a bath with our leader Hal… lots of laughs and learning along the way.

A Marine from our community spent time with Austin and found his “sweet spot”… that moment when trust clicks and everything softens.

These are the kinds of moments that matter.
Connection, confidence, and a little bit of joy… all happening right here with our RESCUED horses.

We always enjoy when friends stop by the farm.

Board members and volunteers got to spend some time with the horses—petting, walking, and just being around them. Nothing complicated, just good times outside with good animals.

Henni is one of our RESCUEs, and there was a time when he would get scared and reactive in moments like this. Today, you can see the difference—calm, connected, and responsive.

This kind of work takes time, consistency, and the right approach. It’s something that can be learned, and moments like this show what’s possible.

This is what our Equine-Therapy Programs are all about. Building trust, creating safety, and allowing both horse and human to grow together.

Everything we do here is FREE OF CHARGE for the veterans, first responders, and families we serve.
