Hope and Healing at Hillenglade (HHH)

Hope and Healing at Hillenglade (HHH) Equine-Assisted Programs that promote Hope and Healing in Nashville, TN, in support of our Military, Veterans, First Responders, and their families.

We are open to the public for paid sessions with all funds going to our free programs for those who serve. Did You Know This About Some Of Our Military Veterans?... Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is the unseen Enemy for all too many of our Brave Warriors.

• We are losing over 20 Active Service Members every day to su***de; that’s more lives lost than Iraq and Afghanistan combined! And thes

e numbers don’t include any of our Veterans who fought in prior wars.

• In the past year alone, the number of diagnosed cases of PTSD in the Military jumped over 50%

• It is believed that 1 in every 5 of our Veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan has PTSD.

• 20% of the soldiers who have been deployed in the past 6 years have been diagnosed with PTSD.

• Over 300,000 of our brave men and women have some level of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.*

One of our favorite things about what we do at Hope and Healing at Hillenglade is acknowledging that healing doesn’t always look serious. Sometimes it looks like laughing in the barn, getting a little creative, and giving a Norwegian Fjord a & . 🐴✂️💛

We had so much fun cutting Henni's mane in the traditional style. There’s something about taking the time to care for an animal, work together, and enjoy the little moments that makes memories—and these are the moments we treasure most.

And can we just agree…Master Henni looks pretty fantastic !!

So thankful for these animals who teach us to slow down, be present, try something new, and find joy in the simple things.

There are moments when you just know you’re witnessing something sacred... especially out here at HHH -

A warrior coming from her place of faith and making her way to Hope and Healing at Hillenglade—a place to breathe, rest, heal, and begin again.

And on that same day, as if the garden wanted to remind us that healing often arrives in unexpected ways, we discovered a beautiful new flower we had never seen before... Nature's Bounty !!

Our mission is bold and we face challenges every day - our volunteers show up with full hearts and helping hands and we thank God for them.

HHH is absolutely thrilled to welcome Jordan Isham to The Harvest Program !! Jordan comes to us by way of West Point and Stanford Business School.
He first enlisted at age 17, is Ranger Qualified and served as an Infantry Officer in the Army.

Jordan Isham is someone who moves through life with incredible faith and has achieved so much success through hard work and dedication. Yet, even the strongest hearts need a season of rest, hope, and deep healing.
We are so blessed to have your inspiring energy here with us. May this next chapter bring you the renewed strength, peace, and comfort you deserve. Your journey is a beautiful testament to resilience, and the best is truly yet to come.

When you leave your gloves sticking out of your back pocket, this mischievous little donkey can't help himself -

He nipped it right out and looked pretty pleased with himself. He did give it back eventually 💛
