Subject: Donate Blood and Support Local Pediatric Cancer Patients!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we want to help support local families! Blood Assurance is partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Nashville and The Rally Foundation to host a blood drive on Saturday, September 21st. Join us at Blood Assurance’s downtown facility from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and help provide life-saving blood and platelets for pediatric cancer patients in need.

Children undergoing cancer treatment often require multiple blood and platelet transfusions to fight infections, endure chemotherapy, and recover from surgeries. By donating, you’re giving these young warriors the strength to continue their battle. Blood Assurance is the primary supplier for most hospitals in Middle Tennessee, including Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and TriStar Centennial Children's Hospital.

They are the secondary supplier for the remainder, so your donation makes a direct impact in our community.

Event details: Date: Saturday, September 21st
Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Location: Blood Assurance, 2817 West End Ave, Suite 200, Nashville, TN

Bonus: All donors will be automatically entered to win a $500 Visa gift card for Fall Break!

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can schedule your appointment in advance at bloodassurance.org/rally, or by calling 800-962-0628.

In 2005, a 17-year-old boy named William was fighting a brain tumor for the second time in two years. Rally Founder and CEO, Dean Crowe, asked a simple question, “What can I do to help? And I will not make you dinner. This situation is so past dinner.” William’s mother replied, “Raise money ...

In my 5 plus decades on this earth, I have learned that when the universe calls us home, we will go, no matter the struggle. No one can stop it. We have one life to live. The material things we invest in are left behind. Memories, therefore, are important to me.
So, I'm going to start a "reunion of friends".

The idea is to see who reads a post without a picture. If no one reads my post, this will be a very short experiment. But if you are reading this message, make a comment using a single word about how we met. After that copy this message on your wall and I will also leave you a word. Please, don't leave a word and then not bother doing the second thing. Let’s go! My friends are important to me, especially right now! Now it is your turn!
