“One of the hardest parts of starting college is finding your people and a sense of belonging. There’s nothing more overwhelming than starting a new chapter of life on your own, in a new place, surrounded by thousands of new people.

By spring semester, I was so excited to rush and find the group of girls who’d be by my side through it all. It sounded very cliché at first, but I soon figured out that you 100% end up where you’re supposed to be, and for me, that was ADPi. Whether it’s spending time with the best big I could ever ask for, having a powwow (iykyk), laughing endlessly with my best friend and roommate, or spending time in the house with my other sisters, I’m constantly grateful for ending up where I did. And of course, I can’t forget to mention that my favs Cadence and Hailey convinced me to join dance team and I’ve never been happier!

Some of my favorite memories and closest friendships have been made through this chapter, and I am forever thankful for ADPi being the place I call home💎🩵!!”

“On Big Little Reveal Day my freshman year, I had already figured out that Naomi was my big, but I had no idea I would also be introduced to the best twin a girl could ask for: Laci. Together we woke up at 5 am to watch the sunrise over Love Circle freshman year and sang awful karaoke at our joint birthday party in November. We sit together at almost every chapter, and nine times out of ten we get froyo with our big and littles afterwards. She is patient, incredibly genuine, and one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever met. She’s the person I can always count on, whether I need a friend to laugh with or to simply slow down and enjoy the quiet moments with. Over the past year and a half I’ve had the privilege of experiencing so much of life with Laci, and I’m so grateful that ADPi gave me one of my closest friends. -Mia Claire”

“Mia Claire and I met for the first time on Big/Little Reveal. We locked eyes in our matching giraffe onesies and instantly ran to give each other a hug before we even knew each other’s names. Looking back, I realize that in that moment I ran home for a second time. From our fam froyo runs to our never-ending car rants, MC is the kind of person who shows up at your door during one of the hardest moments of your life to watch a cheesy movie with you. Through crashouts and celebrations, failures and triumphs, I can always count on her to be there for me. Her tenacity inspires me to be the best version of myself. To say that I’m grateful to ADPi for giving me my best friend would be the understatement of the century. Mia Claire is truly my family. She is one of the most intentional, compassionate, and intelligent women I have ever met. It is the honor of a lifetime to know you, MC, and even more of a privilege to call you my sister.
