Brad wants to show you how to replace your wheel’s belts! He also wants you to know he’s wearing his sunglasses inside because it’s BRIGHT in The Kiln Post

What do you want to see next? Do you have some maintenance you’ve never had to do before? Maybe your handles need some work 🤷🏻‍♀️ let us know!

We’re right here, ask away ✨

Actually though, taking a class and having access to our teachers’ wealth of knowledge is really valuable. Teaching yourself online and through videos can help, but at the end of the day, pottery and other Crafts are very tactile and analog. There’s really no replacement for a person who wants to show you and help you learn.

Remember to thank your kiln tech (and maybe bring them little treats). Every studio has that one tech that has to load all the tiny, delicate things, right? Here it’s Sarah…. Because they’re usually her pieces 😂

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the kind person who donated brand new kiln shelves! People like you make what we do possible. We ✨desperately✨ needed these.

Donations really do go a long way here. These shelves will serve us well for years. If you’re interested in becoming a regular or one time donor, we have a page on our site! There’s more on that page, but donations help us support payroll for our mission potter as well as helping us refresh studio tools and materials so we can keep class prices accessible. And as a reminder, we are a nonprofit, so donations are tax deductible.

Just gotta brag on our people for a minute 😌 pottery is hard, and celebrating wins is important

We’re not saying you’ll make a teapot in your first course with us, but we are saying you’ll learn a lot, even in Sarah’s course, which is self described as “it’s been a long week, let’s play with some mud.” Course registration for the summer is open now!
