Yesterday, Vizient, Inc held an offsite meeting and participated in a service project where they made snack bags, filling seven large boxes. The bags were loaded with delightful treats and even included a thoughtful encouraging note.
2nd Harvest connected Vizient with Luke 14:12, and we picked the boxes up yesterday.
A big thank you to Samantha Nham and Tiffany Priest for coordinating the preparation of the bags for Vizient, and to Jack Stell at 2nd Harvest for always considering our needs.

God is truly good to Luke 14:12! This morning, we celebrated the official Spring rooftop fundraiser, ONE CITY, ONE TABLE, and it was an incredible experience. Bright and early, a wonderful group of supporters of Luke 14:12 gathered on the rooftop gathering space of McKendree United Methodist Church. Surrounded by a downtown landscape, attendees enjoyed a light breakfast with musical ambiance provided by musician Dan Nadasi. The program kicked off with a meaningful prayer led by Rev. Bob Coleman, which set a positive tone for the day. Following that, our Board President, Chris Highfield, delivered an inspiring speech that motivated everyone, and board member Steve Brickner made a compelling call to action that resonated with all present. We wrapped up the event with a closing prayer led by Rev. Dr. Stephen Handy, bringing a sense of unity and gratitude to our gathering. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our official sponsors: Publix, State Farm, Sparks Endeavors, and The Navin Group.
