Luka is a gorgeous 6 year old neutered male in Montecito, CA that is not getting along with their new 11 month old intact berner male. We need a foster or an adopter. He is not particularly fond of other big dogs in his face.
NOTE: Luka was a re-home that they have had for a year.

He will only be in CA for the next 2 weeks and then he will be flying back to Texas with the family.

Hobbies: Boating, hanging at the beach, chasing squirrels and travel.

Hi, I'm Lincoln! I'm a 1.5-year-old Berner with a gentle heart, a smart mind, and all the loyalty you could ask for. I absolutely love people, cuddles, being petted, and staying close to my favorite person. Once I choose you, I really choose you! I'm happy, affectionate, eager to please, and very treat motivated. I'm also a quick learner—I didn't even know my new name when I arrived, but I figured out "Lincoln" in just two days! I've learned basic commands along with "gentle," "wait," "let's go," and "off," and I've already stopped jumping on people.

I'm house trained, walk nicely on a leash, and have excellent manners inside. I'm not destructive, don't chew things I shouldn't, and don't need to be crated—I do great free roaming the house. I also love playing with a ball, being groomed, and soaking up as many pets as you'll give me. I'm good with young children and would really benefit from having another confident dog in my forever home to help me feel secure.

My biggest challenge is anxiety. Loud noises and sudden movements can scare me, and I struggle when I'm separated from my person, especially since I'm happiest when someone is nearby. I'd thrive with someone who is retired, works from home, or can be with me most of the time. I also experience some nighttime anxiety and can become restless or bark. A patient family willing to continue working on my confidence and training would mean the world to me, and a training class could be a great way for us to learn together. I do okay in the car, although I'm still a little unsure about rides.

I'll also need a securely fenced yard because I'm much more comfortable doing my business in a yard than while I'm on a leash. I'm a sensitive boy who needs consistency, companionship, and reassurance—but underneath that anxiety is an incredibly smart, loving, joyful Berner who wants nothing more than to belong. Give me the security and guidance I need, and I'll give you one seriously devoted best friend.

Hi, I'm Bleu! I'm a 4½-year-old Berner with a gentle heart and easygoing personality. I'm the kind of dog who's happy just being with my people, whether we're relaxing at home, going for a stroll, or hanging out with my furry friends. I'm fully house trained, walk beautifully on a leash, and can be trusted loose in the house or in a crate—I'm comfortable either way. I also get along wonderfully with cats and absolutely love spending time playing with my foster family's Berner.

Right now, I'm looking for a very special family because I'm being treated for heartworm disease. The good news is that BARC is covering all of my medical care while I complete treatment. What I need from my forever family is a quiet home that can help me take it easy while I recover. Once I'm healthy again, I'll have many wonderful years ahead of me. More than anything, I'm looking for someone who's willing to love me through this chapter and be there for all the happy ones that follow. At only 5 months old, Shenandoah spent 5 days in the ER fighting severe dehydration, a high fever, and multiple intestinal parasites. She was unable to eat or drink and weighed just 31 pounds.

The Toy Story Litter was rescued from the shelter with their mom when they were itty bitty. Now Barbie, Woody, Buzz, Trixie, Bo Peep, Dolly, Gabby Gabby and Jessie are turning 8 weeks old. They have their first shots, microchipped, wormed and have had f***l tests done. They are ready to go along with their mother. Please help them find their forever homes!

Hi, I'm Zoey, and cuddling is definitely my superpower! If you're looking for a shadow who wants to be by your side, you've found her. Whether I'm curled up on the couch, lying at your feet while you work, or leaning against you for extra pets, I'm happiest when I'm close to my people. Don't be surprised if I decide your lap is the perfect place to relax—I may only be about 60 pounds, but I like to think of myself as fun-sized! I also love going for walks and get so excited that I do a happy dance when it's time to head out.

After spending six years as a breeding mama, I'm ready to enjoy the simple life as a beloved family member. I get along well with other dogs and have wonderful patience, but I'd really prefer a calm home without rambunctious puppies. I'd be perfectly happy as your one and only, or with another mature dog who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. I absolutely adore women and bond especially deeply with them, though I've learned that dads can give pretty great cuddles too! Loud storms make me a little nervous, and busy toddlers can be overwhelming, so I'd do best in a home with older children or adults. I'm trustworthy in the house for up to four hours during the day and all night long, and I happily sleep in my open crate, on my cozy dog bed, or stretched out on the couch. I'm more than ready to spend my next chapter soaking up love, naps, walks, and as many couch cuddles as you'll let me have.

Hi, I'm Molly! 🩷 I'm a sweet, gentle girl who's learning that life can be full of love, comfort, and new adventures. After spending my early years as a breeding dog, I'm discovering how wonderful it feels to have a family of my own. I may be a little shy at first, but every day I grow more confident and trusting. One of my favorite places to be is outside, stretched out in a patch of soft grass where I can sniff the breeze, soak up the sunshine, and watch the world go by.
