🏔️ Kevin & His Forever Adventure Crew 🏔️

Some dogs are meant for mountain trails, muddy paws, fresh air, and a family that’s ready to explore right alongside them… and Kevin found exactly that. 🖤🤍🤎

This sweet boy has officially found his forever home, and it already looks like the adventure of a lifetime. From hiking trails to cozy nights after a long day outdoors, Kevin now has a family ready to make memories with him every step of the way.

Seeing rescue dogs go from uncertainty to this kind of happiness never gets old. Just look at that smile. 🐾

Thank you to everyone who helped Kevin on his journey — and to his amazing forever family for giving him the life every Berner deserves: love, adventure, and belonging.

Hi, I’m Queenie. I’m a 6-year-old girl with a soft heart and a gentle soul, and I’m looking for a very special home where I can feel completely safe. I came from a difficult past, and while I’ve made incredible progress, I still need a calm, patient environment to truly thrive. I bond deeply with my person (especially women) and will happily follow you around, soak up belly rubs, and stay close by your side. I absolutely love affection and will never say no to being loved on.

I’m fully house trained—I even ring bells to let you know when I need to go outside—and I’m crate trained too. I enjoy relaxing in my crate and do very well when left alone. I’m a great mix of playful and laid-back: I enjoy running around outside, watching squirrels and rabbits, and occasionally playing with a ball, but I’m just as happy lounging nearby and snoozing during the day. I also ride well in the car and love being included.

Because of my past, I am very fearful of men and need a home without one. Loud or unpredictable environments can make me anxious, so I’d do best in a calm home with a steady routine. I do well with respectful children and have lived peacefully with cats and other dogs, though I may need a little time to warm up. I have a chicken allergy that’s easily managed with the right diet, and I may need occasional dental care to keep me feeling my best.

I’ve come such a long way and have so much love to give. What I need now is someone patient, kind, and committed to helping me feel safe for the rest of my life. If you can give me that, I will be your most loyal, loving companion.

FOSTERS and FUNDS
This is a post BARC finds hard to make. There are 16 puppies at auction and even with low maximum bids it will be costly. We can cover that, BUT the issue that has arisen is we have been asked to purchase 19 eight week old puppies for lower than auction costs. We do not have enough money to do so. It is hard to decide how many we try to keep out of pet stores; we would like to get them all!
