Shortly before we lost Dolly Parton, she took the time to record a message for our teachers at the CMA Foundation Music Teachers of Excellence. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the night that celebrates teachers whose legacies also reach beyond music.

A decade of excellence starts here ✨

Ahead of the 10th Annual Music Teachers of Excellence Ceremony, our 2026 honorees gathered at Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel for our Teacher Summit! The day centered around music teachers collaborating with their peers, learning from industry and education leaders, and exploring new ways to elevate music education in their communities. We’re proud to continue this legacy with an outstanding class. 🎶❤️
